This beverage, a blend of brown powders (cocoa, coffee and panela), helps fight against the production and consumption of a much more addictive white powder: cocaine. How? It's made from ingredients that are grown in Colombia and Peru to replace the illegal coca plantations that fuel the drug trade. The drink, 100% organic, is further packaged in an eco-friendly cardboard can.

The drink is, like the whole Chocolero range, certified organic (control body BE-BIO-01). It is much healthier than traditional energy drinks, including the use of whole cane sugar, which is richer in nutrients than refined sugar.

The solid ingredients of the drink come directly from farmers' cooperatives engaged in alternative development in Colombia and Peru. This transitional movement is replacing the illegal cultivation of coca trees with both nutritious and peaceful alternative crops, such as cocoa or coffee. These ingredients are purchased under fair trade conditions (pending SPP certification - Símbolo de Pequeños Productores) in order to offer a decent alternative income to ex-coca growers.

The packaging consists of a cylindrical aseptic laminated cardboard. It comes from sustainably managed forests, as evidenced by its PEFC certification. It has a more favorable carbon footprint (34 g CO2 - equivalent per 250 ml) than traditional metal cans, even recycled (61 g). In addition, the cardboard can does not require any plastic plug or straw.
